Wrinkle Injection Therapy for facial lines and wrinkles is an injection treatment to reduce facial expression lines. This treatment has been used for many years and is licensed for treatment of spasticity, and various facial tics and spasms. A number of tiny injections are required and will only cause minimal discomfort. The results will appear gradually over 3 to 5 days. The effect will last between 2 to 7 months, most patients experience 4 to 5 months.

Side effects from this treatment are rare and usually very mild. Immediately after treatment there may be some mild swelling and redness; however, this usually settles down within a couple of hours.
